Wheelchair Services
Bay Star Ambulance Service offers safe, comfortable wheelchair service for people in need of alternate transportation to and from medical appointments. While some companies provide "curb to curb" service, we provide "door to door" service with extra attention by safely helping patients from inside their home or skilled nursing facility to their medical facility and back. Our wheelchair van is staffed by one of our experienced healthcare professionals trained in CPR and first aid.
Typical visits include:
Doctor Office Appointments, Hyperbaric or Radiation Centers, Hospital Discharges and Admissions, Skilled Nursing Facility Transfers, Same Day Surgery.
